Compass Box est unique dans le monde du whisky. Fondée en 2000, c'est une petite société indépendante spécialisée dans l'assemblage de whiskies achetés auprès de grandes maisons. Compass Box en a fait sa spécialité, pour devenir maître dans le genre : blended malt, blended grain et blended whisky, chacune de ces catégories est représentée dans leur portefeuille. C'est également une maison avec une philosophie forte : convaincue que l'assemblage est un travail digne et noble, elle cherche à le séparer de son image industrielle pour le revaloriser en tant qu'artisanat.
