Wild Turkey

Wild Turkey est une distillerie de bourbon fondée en 1869 à Tyrone près de Lawrenceburg dans l'État du Kentucky. La marque « Wild Turkey » serait née après qu'un dirigeant d'Austin Nichols - l'embouteilleur de la marque -, Thomas McCarthy, emporta quelques échantillons de bourbon lors d'un voyage de chasse au dindon sauvage en 1940. Il le fit goûter à ses proches qui furent séduits par ce qui restera le « Wild Turkey bourbon ».
