Domaine Invergodon - Ecosse Highlands

Invergodon

Invergordon est une des rares distilleries de grain situées dans le nord de l'Ecosse, à proximité du port. Traditionnellement, ce genre de distillerie se trouve plutôt dans les Lowlands, pour des raisons d'approvisionnement en matières premières et de logistique. Invergordon commence son activité en 1961, deux ans après la fondation d'Invergordon Distillers, dans une période de forte croissance pour le whisky écossais, très apprécié en Amérique du nord. La distillerie est acquise par Whyte and Mackay en 1993.
