Cuvée presentation

Mesk, meaning mixture in Breton, is a blend of whiskies from the Warenghem and Eddu distilleries. This version is aged in different types of casks.

The distillery Naguelann

Naguelann was founded in 2014 by Lénaïck Lemaître, a trained bartender with a passion for whisky. Initially, he focused on maturing whiskies distilled by other Scottish and Breton distilleries and released his first expression, the Grand Pa cuvée, in 2015. This whisky was crafted from a whisky produced by the Warenghem distillery and aged in a cask that had previously held his grandfather's homemade cider. Shortly after, he introduced Mesk, an innovative cuvée blending whiskies from the Warenghem and Eddu distilleries. Driven by the desire to produce his own whiskies, Lénaïck invested in two stills in 2016 and 2017. He released his first whisky, Dieil, in 2020. Its name means “rare” in Breton and reflects the modest volume produced by the distillery.
