Founded in Seattle, Washington in 2010, the Westland distillery distils, matures and bottles American single malts in the heart of the North-West Pacific with the aim of adding a new American signature to the world of single malts. The whiskey attests to this and is distilled from five rich and tasty varieties of Washington barley, before being matured in new American oak casks in cold and constant humidity. In just a few years, Westland has received numerous awards for its whiskeys and was named Best Artisan Producer in the World in 2016 by Whisky Magazine at its annual Icons of Whisky competition.
