Cuvée presentation

A Bénédictine liqueur bottled in the 1960s.

The distillery Bénédictine

Bénédictine is a brand of French liqueur whose roots go back to a legend dating to 1510, attributing its creation to a Venetian monk, Dom Bernardo Vincelli. This recipe includes 27 plants and spices, and although thought lost after the French Revolution, it was later rediscovered by Alexandre Prosper Hubert the Great in 1863, who subsequently relaunched production. The recipe is a secret and only three examples exist in the world.
