Cuvée presentation

A Garnheath single cask distilled in 1967 and bottled in 2010. Douglas Laing was founded in 1948 by Fred Douglas Laing, primarily as a blending company but also as an independent bottler, with the latter activity becoming increasingly prominent over the years. When Fred Douglas Laing died in 1982, his two sons Fred and Stewart took over the business. Stewart left in 2013 to set up Hunter Laing. Douglas Laing is today managed by Fred Laing and his daughter Cara. A limited edition of 159 bottles.

The distillery Moffat

Garnheath was a grain distillery located in the Moffat complex in the Lowlands. Although it was operational for only 22 years, it was particularly productive in an era in which the grain and blend industry was in the midst of a boom. Then reserved for blends, Garnheath whisky was only bottled as a single grain by independent bottlers many years later.
