PLANTERAY RUM 2022 Barbados 186g of ester
ABV: 65%
The result of a two-week fermentation period and double distillation in John Dore and Old Gregg stills, this Barbadian rum underwent a meticulously orchestrated ageing process: one year in a tropical climate in bourbon casks, followed by three years of continental ageing in cognac casks in France. With an ester count of 186 g/hlap, it perfectly illustrates the expression an iron fist in a velvet glove. Its aromatic profile, where wax-like and petrol notes blend into a fruity, syrupy character, captivates through its balance, depth, and silky texture.
PLANTERAY RUM 2022 Barbados 287 g d'ester
ABV: 62,3%
Following a three-week fermentation period and double distillation in the historic Old Gregg and John Dore stills, this rum has an ester content of 287 g/hlap. Its aromatic profile captivates with mineral and medicinal notes while remaining remarkably true to the original distillate.
